Who We Are
A builder and a business manager. You need both.
Most contractors can swing a hammer. Few can run a budget, a schedule, and a dozen trade partners without dropping something. Southcoast Building was established in Westport in 2020 to do both — every project gets Roy’s 39 years of hands-on building and Mike’s 35 years of business and finance discipline.
CSL and HIC licensed, fully insured, office in Assonet. We work within about 30 minutes of home — Westport, Dartmouth, Acushnet, Mattapoisett, Fairhaven, Freetown, Fall River, New Bedford.

New Construction
Custom homes on your lot or ours — and spec homes we design, build, and sell. From first sketch to certificate of occupancy, one accountable team.
ADUs & In-Law Suites
Most of ours are built for family — a parent staying close while keeping their independence. Allowed by right in most MA single-family zones; typically a 4–5 month project.
Additions & Renovations
Second stories, primary-suite wings, whole-home transformations of older South Coast houses. Projects that change how your home lives.
